Our Communal Doors are designed to offer protection as well as withstand heavy use and vandalism, they are suitable for fitting to public buildings such as Schools, Offices, Blocks of Flats, both front and rear doors, they can be supplied as single or double or doors, and can be fitted fixed side and top panels with vision panels as required.

Our doors are custom made in the UK using the most modern technology, engineered to have a guaranteed long life even under heavy communal use, all our doors are custom made to meet customers exact requirements.

Most of the Communal Doors we supply are fitted with electro magnetic locks which are triggered by key or key fob or from an access system. The door locks automatically when it is in the closed position and access can be controlled.

Heavy duty door closers return the door to the closed position, and are concealed from view to protect against attack and an integrated anti-jemmy strip, situated on the leading edge of the door protects the locking system against attack from crowbars and other levers.

Heavy Duty vision panels can be fitted in a range of sizes supplied with 6mm clear polycarbonate glazing or laminated glass.

Door leafs are made from 1.6mm Zintec Steel and frame from 2.00mm Zintec Steel welded for extra strength, 45mm core has a bonded honeycombe infill to give the door extra rigidity, for outward opening doors a Anti-Jemmy strip is integrated into the leading edge of the active leaf of the door. Low maintenance stainless steel piano hinges are fitted which are suitable for doors with a high number of opening and closing cycles.

The doors are supplied as standard with a high quality powder coated coloured finish, an extra long life powder coated coloured finish is available with a 10 year warranty at extra cost.
