SECURITY
Our heavy duty RB3 Security Doors have been developed to protect medium risk Commercial, Industrial or High Risk residential properties from, designed to withstand attack by heavy hand tools and where noise is not an issue.

DOOR LEAF
Door leaf is 50mm thick with external sheets made from 1.5mm corrosion resistant Zintec or Aluzinc treated sheets as standard, the door is bonded together with rigid core and steel stiffeners, void filled with mineral wool for insulation. Total steel thickness 3mm, outward opening doors fitted with a heavy duty anti-crow bar re-enforcement strip.

DOOR FRAME
Heavy Duty folded and welded frame made from 1.6mm steel, Zintec or Aluzinc coated against corrosion, supplied with an easy fit adjustable frame allowing for fitting tolerance from 0 to plus 30mm.

The frame is manufactured with protection to the fixings against crow bar attack, the frame is fitted with 3 heavy duty class 13 stainless steel hinges and 2 hinge pins (dog bolts)

THRESHOLD
Standard: 15mm rebated threshold.
Optional: 5mm driveable (DDA compliant).
12.5mm 564A Aluminium (DDA compliant).

FINISHES
Doors are available as standard in prima powder coated grey finish BS10A05 Goosewing Grey), suitable for on site painting, other standard powder coated finishes are available at extra cos.

SIZES
The doors are made to measure and are available in 10mm increments for door openings, single openings from 690mm to 1390mm wide, double doors and double openings 1290mm to 2600mm, height up to 2900mm.

LOCKING
Personnel doors fitted with a high security triple point high security sashlock and anti drill euro-profile cylinder, made with escutcheon re-enforcement
Alternatively high security Fire escape panic hardware available for fire escape doors.

APPLICATIONS
Designed for Medium risk residential and commercial property applications, protection from forced entry using a variety of hand tools with little regard to noise

The RB3 door can offer 4 hour fire rating (limited tested door furniture available)

TESTING
The Doors are independently tested to prEN 1627 - 2007/09. Security Level 3. The test involves a simulated attack over a period of 20mins. using a variety of hand tools, including crow bar, hammer and hand drill, Locks Anti-drill tested to BS EN 1303 Security grade 6.
