SECURITY
Our heavy duty RB4 Security Steel Doors and Blast Doors have been designed to protect properties that are High Risk, they are designed to protect against attack with no regard to noise using heavy duty hand and battery powered tools, they also protect against explosives.

DOOR LEAF
Door leaf is 50mm thick with external sheets made from 1.5mm thick corrosion resistant Zintec or Aluzinc treated steel as standard, the door sheets are bonded together with a rigid core of solid timber, with an internal stainless steel anti attack skin, the total effective armoured thickness of the steel is 4.5mm. outward opening doors fitted with a heavy duty anti-crow bar re-enforcement strip.

DOOR FRAME
High security welded and folded frame made from 1.6mm steel with Zintec or
Aluzinc coating to protect against corrosion. Supplied with an easy fit adjustable
frame allowing for a fitting tolerance from 0 to plus 30mm.

The frame is manufactured with protection to the fixings against crow bar attack,
the hinges are of continuous design and made of stainless steel with integral hinge
pins (dog bolts)

THRESHOLD
Standard: 15mm high threshold.
Optional: 5mm drive over (DDA compliant).

FINISHES
Doors are available as standard Prima powder coated grey finish BS10A05 Goosewing Grey, that can left untreated or painted at the site, other standard powder coated finishes are available at extra cost.

SIZES
The doors are made to measure supplied in 10mm increments for door openings from 690mm wide up to 1390mm, double openings 1290mm to 2600mm, heights up to 2900mm.

LOCKING
Available with a centre fitted high security Sashlock combined with two deadlocks in the upper and lower parts of the door. All locks are fitted with anti-crow bar escutcheon plates and welded shroud. Euro profile locks are anti-drill with specialist keys designed to protect against copying.
Alternatively high security fire escape panic hardware can be supplied where fire exit doors are required.

APPLICATIONS
The Doors are suitable for high risk applications on vulnerable properties, where previous forced entry attacks have been made with no regard to noise being made, they are also suitable for protecting against attempted entry by use of explosives.

TESTING
The Doors have been independently tested in Sweden to Test SS 81 73 45, the doors had a simulated 30 minute attack using hand and power tools including an electric drill, hammer, grinder and saw.

Locks are anti-drill tested to BS EN 1303 Security grade 6, BLAST SD5 doors have been tested and passed EXR3 of BS EN 13124-2, the Explosion, Resistance standard, with explosive blasts using explosives.
