Our high-performance acoustic doors are individually certified and designed with security in mind. Whatever your project, the Defender Soundguard offers the perfect balance between acoustic performance, security, and durability. These soundproof doors are available for both internal and external use, manufactured to almost any size, and tailored to your specific requirements.
The Defender Soundguard acoustic steel doors offer acoustic ratings of 30-40dB+, combining noise reduction with tough security. Manufactured from 1.5mm galvanised steel as standard, with upgrades to 2.0mm galvanised or stainless steel, the 56mm leaf features a mineral wool core and anti-jemmy flange.
Available in single sizes up to 1470mm x 3800mm and doubles up to 2860mm x 3800mm, it includes DDA-compliant stainless thresholds, a 90mm galvanised steel frame, and stainless ball-bearing hinges with security dogbolts. With a thermal performance from 2.2 W/m²K (upgradeable to 1.4 W/m²K), these soundproof doors also offer fire-rated options on request.
Our acoustic steel doors can be powder coated in any RAL colour, including marine-graded finishes, with textured, metallic, and even woodgrain effects available for a premium appearance.
