Our doors are designed to the specification outlined by Sport England for safe use of doors in a sporting environment, which aim to improve participation in sporting activities.
Specialist British manufactured sports hall doors, that meet Sport England design guidelines, allow people to play sport in the safest possible environment.
Door furniture, such as the lever handles or panic bar, are recessed to protect children & the general public from accidental injury. This is so there aren’t any blunt objects which could potentially cause harm people.
As the ironmongery is recessed back within the door by the rebound boards, it leaves no sharp edges exposed. As the doors flush with the internal walls, it helps with playing ball games due to the fact that the ball will not fly off in random directions.
We can supply either single or double doors fitted with our standard security features, such as stainless-steel hinges with dog bolts, outward opening external doors fitted with an anti-jemmy strip, supplied as standard in a power coated coloured finish.
