Bespoke Defender Entrance Steel Door Installed at Hobbs Printers

Security Care recently completed the installation of a Defender Entrance Steel Door at Hobbs Printers in Southampton, providing a secure entrance solution tailored to the customer’s exact requirements.

Unlike standard door installations, this project incorporated customer-supplied hardware, which was installed at our factory before the door was delivered to site. Completing this work during manufacture helped reduce installation time and ensured the finished product was ready for commissioning.

Manufactured to Customer Specification

Every commercial building has different operational requirements. For this project, the client requested that their chosen hardware be integrated into the new steel entrance door during production.

By fitting the hardware in our factory, we were able to deliver a door that arrived on site fully prepared for installation while maintaining the high manufacturing standards expected from our Defender range.

Prepared for Access Control

The installation was designed to integrate with the building’s existing security systems.

The door was prepared for an Abloy EL560 lock, with connection cables left ready for the customer’s electrical contractor to complete the access control installation.

This collaborative approach helps ensure different trades can complete their work efficiently while providing a fully integrated security solution.
